Make your Dreadlock Care spray mix – Useful Oils
Dreadlocks are a natural thing themselves, but a lot of people come and ask me what products do they need to put on them.. Products? What products? The whole reason of having dreads is that you actually don’t need to use any products 💭
Well, any.. Forget all the products you used to get that have plenty of chemicals inside, to make your hair look or be a certain way. What is good to use for your dreads though, it’s oils. Yes oils! Oils are good for your dreadlocks and scalp and they are super-natural which we love 🍃💧
So some of the most useful oils are Tea Tree Oil, Lavender Oil, Rosemary Oil to make this amazing refreshing spray for your dreads. Now let’s see what each oil does.
Tea Tree Oil:
Tea tree essential oil has a warm, fresh and spicy aroma. It originates from Australia and is extracted by steam distillation of the the leaves and twigs. Tea tree essential oil, is a member of the Myrtaceae family and is also known as narrow-leaved paperbark tea tree, ti-tree, ti-trol or melasol.
Benefits of Using Tea Tree Oil on Hair:
This oil is extremely effective for hair, calms itchy scalp and helps control oily skin.
It helps hair growth, clears clogged pores as well as soothes itchy scalp. The Tea Tree Oil will give your scalp and hair a healthy treat since it removes head lice, treats dandruff and kills fungus.

Make the Dreadlock Care Spray Mix:
The essential oils are a great way to care for your dreadlocks! Making the spray is very easy:

- get a 75ml spray bottle
-
- add 60ml water
-
- add 4-6 drops of Tea Tree Oil
-
- then 4-6 drops of Lavender Oil
-
- and 4-6 drops of Rosemary Oil
-
- close and shake your bottle well
-
- for a better mix add 4 drops of Solubol for each drop of Oil
With the combination of all three and you are ready to rock your dreads with a few splashes in the roots.
You and your hair will feel new and refreshed again 🙆♀️ 💁
